Eu-HEM Summer School 2024 in Innsbruck

Date 2024-07-17

A week of learning, networking, and inspiration

From June 24 to June 28, 2024, students of the European Master in Health Economics & Management (Eu-HEM) spent a week in Innsbruck to participate in the Eu-HEM Summer School. The master program is a Joint Degree program, offered by MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, the Universities of Bologna and Oslo, and Erasmus University Rotterdam. After spending the first semester together in Bologna and studying at one of the partner universities in the second semester, the students experienced an emotional reunion in Innsbruck.

The event was conducted as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program, with all four Eu-HEM partner universities involved in the organization and implementation of the event.

The week began with the Market Place of Ideas, an inspiring gathering where students could directly network with alumni of the program. Eu-HEM graduates shared their experiences and research topics, providing inspiration for potential master thesis subjects.

In the following days, students had the opportunity to prepare in detail for their master theses during Thesis Workshops, where they could research and discuss possible thesis topics. Additionally, they improved their skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods and had time to focus on time and self-management in the "Lead Yourself" module.

The impressive mountain landscape surrounding Innsbruck and the welcoming atmosphere created jointly by all participants from the various universities made the Eu-HEM Summer School 2024 a special experience for everyone involved.
