Innovative micro-credential courses at MCI

MCI is expanding its executive education offerings: The innovative online micro-credential courses at the Entrepreneurial School^® provide the perfect opportunity to pursue compact further education at the highest level. The six-week online programs allow for efficient and practical in-depth study in core areas of business administration and management and are designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone, who wants to expand their skills in a customized and flexible way.

The courses offered cover a wide range of fields - from accounting, management and leadership to marketing and sales. The resulting learning outcomes are called "micro-credentials". "In a rapidly changing world, characterized by social challenges and a dynamic labor market, we recognize the importance of lifelong learning," explains MCI Rector Andreas Altmann. "By implementing the EU Council recommendation on 'micro-credentials', we want to offer high-quality education in various formats to strengthen personal, social, and professional skills."

The compact courses not only impart directly applicable knowledge, but can also be integrated into daily professional life. "Our goal is to make learning possible anytime and anywhere, just when it is most convenient for our students," says Susanne Herzog, Head of Executive Education at MCI. Therefore, it is possible to start the courses at any time and from anywhere.

In addition, the certificates obtained can be credited towards further MCI study programs, such as the MCI continuing education bachelor's program in General Management.
