MCI Graduate Receives State Award

Outstanding master's degree at MCI honored with state award from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research

Once again, an MCI alumnus has received the state award from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, valued at 3,000 euros. Claudio Jäger, a bachelor’s and master’s graduate from MCI, was honored for his outstanding academic performance and excellent master’s thesis during the award ceremony in Vienna.

Claudio Jäger completed his bachelor's in Mechatronics and his master's in Management, Communication & IT at the Entrepreneurial School®. In his innovative master's thesis titled “Development of a Concept for a Drone Network for Emergency Operations,” he developed a concept for a drone network in Tyrol that could be used to support patient care during emergencies.

Each year, the state award recognizes the top 55 diploma and master’s theses from around 16,000 graduates at all Austrian universities and colleges. In the higher education sector, 15 awards are given nationwide.
