MCI Recruiting Forum 2025: Career Boost for 1,100 MCI Talents

Date 2025-11-04

Top career fair connects students and alumni with 100 leading employers | Strong demand for career services | MCI students graduate with an average of 2.8 job offers

The MCI Recruiting Forum 2025 once again proved to be a key event for students, alumni, and employers alike. More than 1,000 participants gathered at the Congress Innsbruck to meet over 100 national and international companies, build valuable connections, and explore career opportunities.

As in previous years, the event showcased a broad mix of exhibitors – from major corporations to start-ups, NGOs, and family businesses. Many of them offered internships, entry-level jobs, thesis opportunities, and international career paths. Thanks to MCI’s digital career platform, participants were able to research companies in advance and schedule one-on-one meetings ahead of the event.

From CV Checks to Color Consultations

The comprehensive career services, offered free of charge to all attendees, received enthusiastic feedback. Experienced recruiting professionals provided CV checks, while application coaching sessions allowed for tailored feedback on presentation and communication skills. The popular "Rock your LinkedIn" sessions helped participants refine their online profiles, and a professional photo shoot ensured high-quality application pictures.

New services in 2025 included individual color consultations offered by the team of Stilsicher and an advisory booth by the Austrian Business Agency (ABA), focusing especially on supporting international students. A welcoming and relaxed atmosphere was fostered by the new Coffee Corner, hosted by unbound Coffee Roasters.

With the MCI Career Center, we connect students with companies already during their studies. This strengthens the regional ecosystem, supports our career partners, and helps align job profiles and student expectations early on. On average, MCI students graduate with 2.8 job offers, emphasizes Rector Andreas Altmann, expressing his gratitude to Head of the Career Center Brigitte Huter, all corporate partners, sponsors, and contributors involved in this successful initiative.

Brigitte Huter is equally pleased with the outcome of the event: With the MCI Recruiting Forum, we create a platform where young talents and employers can meet as equals. It is impressive to see how actively our students and alumni seize this opportunity, and how consistently high the interest from companies is year after year. This event is a true win-win for everyone involved.

MCI sincerely thanks all exhibitors, partner companies, and supporters – especially SPAR for providing catering, Volksbank Tirol for sponsoring the prize draw, and Die Presse as media partner.
