In seven festive ceremonies held at the prestigious Dogana in the Congress Innsbruck, a total of 1,179 graduates from MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® were recently awarded their diplomas.
The events marked the culmination of their academic journey and reflected the institution’s values of performance, innovation, internationality and responsibility.
The new graduates come from a wide range of disciplines, including business, law, IT, tourism, health & social sciences, mechatronics, medical & sports technologies, process, environmental & energy engineering, biotechnology & food technology, industrial engineering, as well as from executive part-time master programs.
A particular highlight: Numerous graduates also received international double degrees thanks to MCI’s exclusive partnerships with top-ranked universities worldwide – an opportunity rarely found elsewhere.
Among the prominent guests offering congratulations were Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, and Barbara Thaler, President of the Tyrolean Economic Chamber. Digital greetings were received from MCI Honorary Professor Ban Ki-moon, Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, FC Bayern President Herbert Hainer, and other notable figures, all of whom underlined the essential role of high-quality education and praised MCI’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and internationalization.
Global alumni network continues to grow
With the current graduating class, MCI now proudly counts around 18,000 alumni across the globe, working in diverse industries and leadership roles. The university’s graduation rate remains at an impressive 83%, a testament to strong demand, rigorous admission processes, mandatory attendance, intensive support, and a practice-oriented academic approach.
MCI’s strong reputation is also reflected in the job market: According to the 2023 MCI Alumni Survey, students receive an average of 2.8 job offers even before completing their studies.
MCI Rector Andreas Altmann extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates: “Carry your knowledge into the world with courage, energy, foresight and joy. Be grateful for the investments society has made in you. Shape the future and take responsibility – for yourselves, for others, and for society. We are proud to have accompanied you on this important part of your journey and to welcome you into our global MCI alumni community. Congratulations!”
