MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® is further expanding its international network. Beginning in fall 2026, MCI and the renowned Paris School of Business (PSB) will offer an innovative Double Degree program in Executive Education.
The program is designed for executives and ambitious professionals looking to further develop their academic expertise. Participants explore real-world challenges from their professional environment while working closely with leading European institutions recognized for excellence in management education and research.
Launching in fall 2026, the Double Degree program enables participants to earn two academic qualifications: a Master of Science (MSc) from MCI and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Paris School of Business.
Located in the historic “Quartier Latin” in the heart of Paris, PSB is one of France’s internationally recognized Grandes Écoles and holds the prestigious triple accreditation of EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA – an achievement reserved for the world's leading business schools.
As part of this doctoral partnership, participants will further develop their analytical and strategic capabilities in areas such as Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, and Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to incorporate research questions from their own professional environments into their studies. The program focuses on addressing current and future challenges within participants' fields through research that is both academically rigorous and highly relevant to practice.
Designed for working professionals, the program combines modern teaching and learning formats with intensive on-site modules, complemented by online and hybrid learning opportunities in both Innsbruck and Paris.
Participants also benefit from an extensive international network, cross-cultural exchange, and a shared academic journey that combines the strengths of both institutions with the professional experience and perspectives of accomplished leaders.
Another key advantage of the program is its flexibility. Should professional or personal circumstances change, participants may complete the MSc component at MCI independently and continue the DBA studies in Paris at a later stage. This structure provides an ideal balance between career development, academic advancement, and personal growth.
Markus Kittler, Academic Director of the doctoral partnership, welcomes the collaboration with PSB: “This program enables working professionals to grow intellectually, personally, and professionally while directly applying the research outcomes of their studies to management practice. The combination of an MSc and a doctoral degree creates a highly attractive win-win opportunity for participants.”
“The Double Degree program is offered in an innovative part-time format that allows participants to successfully combine career, academic studies, and family life. Online courses, coaching sessions, and intensive supervision of research projects ensure a high degree of flexibility, relevance, and motivation throughout the program,” adds Susanne E. Herzog, Head of Executive Education at MCI.
Benjamin Keddad, Head of Executive Education at PSB, explains: “We are proud to launch a new partnership between PSB and MCI, offering an integrated MSc + DBA pathway across Paris and Innsbruck. This initiative strengthens the international dimension of our DBA and reflects our commitment to building strong European collaborations. MCI, as a well-established and highly regarded institution, plays a key role in the continued development of our executive program portfolio.”
MCI Rector Andreas Altmann is equally enthusiastic: “The innovative Innsbruck–Paris MSc-DBA Double Degree program is a perfect fit for the strategic direction of our Entrepreneurial School®. For more than 30 years, the close integration of academic excellence and practical relevance has been an essential part of our DNA. We look forward to accompanying students from around the world on their academic journey.”
