The Caritas of the Diocese of Innsbruck, the bachelor’s Program in Social, Health & Public Management, and the Center for Social & Health Innovation (CSHI) at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® are joining forces once again for the next edition of the Tyrol State-funded ideas competition:
“Innovations in Social and Health Care – The Society of Tomorrow.”
This competition targets students in the 11th, 12th, and 13th grades (including all final-year classes) across Austria, encouraging them to engage in creative thinking and explore the question: What should the society of the future look like?
Participants are invited to submit their ideas for the society of tomorrow in short texts of up to 2,600 characters (including spaces, approx. 350 words) via an online submission form.
Possible thematic areas include:
A panel of experts from the social and health sectors will evaluate the submissions and select up to ten ideas to be presented in 15-minute online short talks (scheduled for March 2026). From these presentations, three winning ideas will be chosen, each receiving a prize of € 600.
Ideas can be submitted until February 1, 2026.
The award ceremony for the winners will take place on April 17, 2026 at MCI.
In parallel with the competition, faculty from the Social, Health & Public Management program and the CSHI at MCI will offer coaching sessions at schools (upon request by schools/teachers) to build skills in preparing scientific abstracts for submission and in the academic use of artificial intelligence.
Here you can find the criteria relevant to your submission. Please also upload a photo of yourself or your group with your submission that may be published in the event of an award.
If you have any questions about the competition or the submission process, please contact Idee@mci.edu.
