With the support of other MCI colleagues, we were able to show a sign of compassion this year. Together, we collected nearly 200 packages for the inmates of the prison in Innsbruck, supporting the diocese’s “Christmas in a Shoe Box” project.
The packages were filled with small tokens of kindness that mean especially much at Christmas. A heartfelt thank-you goes to all students, staff, and supporters who donated, helped out, or took part in packing and delivery. Together, we want to show that community, empathy, and solidarity are not just words, but values we live by.
A special thanks goes to Dr. Arno Weber, a long-time friend of MCI, who has accompanied and actively supported this initiative for many years.
We hope to bring joy to the recipients and are convinced that it is important to support people in difficult life situations and to show that there is a world that offers second chances.
Thank you to everyone who made this project possible. Together, we can make a difference. #TogetherWeShapeTheFuture
