Our Graduates Embark on a Promising Future

A celebratory milestone for our students of the department Business & Management

On Saturday, 29 November 2025, students of the Department Business & Management celebrated the successful completion of their studies together with family and friends at the festively decorated Dogana in Innsbruck.

MCI Rector Andreas Altmann extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates, while the Heads of Studies Michael Razen and Thomas Stöckl emphasized in their speeches the importance of perseverance, willingness to learn, and solidarity demonstrated by the students throughout their years of study. Their commitment, curiosity, and readiness to take responsibility, they noted, were the key to their academic success and at the same time the foundation for a promising future.

A highlight of the graduation ceremony was the formal conferral of academic degrees by the promoter Franz Pegger, together with the Heads of Studies. Through this official act, the graduates were awarded the right to bear the title Bachelor of Arts or Master of Arts—visible recognition of two or three years of intensive study, valuable experience, and personal development.

Special thanks were extended to families, friends, and employers, whose encouragement and support made both the course of study and its successful completion possible. The warm and emotional atmosphere reflected the close bonds that developed during the years of study, both among the students themselves and with MCI.

On the same day, the Department Social Work also celebrated the graduates of its degree programs, with Head of Studies Belachew Gebrewold offering his heartfelt congratulations on their achievements.

The graduation ceremony marked the conclusion of a formative chapter in life and, at the same time, the beginning of a new phase full of opportunities. The graduates leave not only with their diplomas, but also with experiences, friendships, and values that will accompany them throughout their lives.
