On the occasion of St. Joseph's Day, the Chamber of Labor Tyrol organized a social theme day ("Joseph Day") on March 21. Every year, numerous representatives of Tyrolean social institutions and the Chamber of Labor Tyrol meet in Innsbruck to discuss current social policy issues. The Department of Social Work is an important discussion partner at these meetings and was represented by our senior lecturer Christina Lienhart.
This year's focus lied primarily on inflation, poverty and housing shortages. In order to give these topics a "strong voice", connecting Tyrolean social institutions is a central factor.
