Promoting solidarity and well-being: Department of Social Work celebrates World Social Work Day 2025

World Social Work Day (WSWD) takes place every year on the third Tuesday in March. The motto of this year's World Social Work Day is “Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeing”.

The aim of WSWD is to showcase the diversity of Social Work and raise public awareness of its importance. Employees of the Department of Social Work have produced a video for this occasion, which picks up on this year's motto and thus contributes to the visibility of the day.
