Exchange of Experience & Further Development of Practice Phases

Date 2025-03-21

Representatives from Tyrol's social institutions and the Department of Social Work are working together on the latest standards for internships in the bachelor's program

This year's internship supervisor meeting recently took place under the direction of Bastian Oechsle, Research & Teaching Assistant at MCI and Internship Coordinator. Around 20 representatives from various institutions in Tyrol met with the program team to share their experiences, discuss challenges and work together on the further development of the practical phases.

A particular highlight was the opportunity to present the recently published Austria-wide standards for internships in the Bachelor's degree program in Social Work.

In order to further strengthen the ongoing dialog between theory and practice, the next meeting has already been scheduled - it will take place on 26 January 2026 at MCI.
