Practice Coordinator Meeting at MCI

Exchange and perspectives: Representatives from Tyrol's social institutions meet at the MCI department of Social Work

The annual networking meeting of practice coordinators for Social Work degree programs at all Austrian universities of applied sciences recently took place at MCI. In a productive and lively atmosphere, current developments relating to the expansion of study places, the associated challenges, and initial feedback on nationwide standards for internships were discussed.

The recognition of previous practical experience and the protection of the professional title “social worker” also sparked lively discussion. The working group refined its focus and forged plans for the future.

The next meeting will take place in Graz in 2026.
