Exchange with Social Organizations on Internship Coordination, AI Tools and Changing Student Needs

This year's practical training supervisor meeting was recently held under the direction of Bastian Oechsle (internship coordination). Representatives from various social institutions accepted the invitation to discuss current developments and exchange experiences with the MCI department of Social Work.

The focus was on current developments in internship coordination and the challenges of finding internships against the backdrop of increased university capacity. In addition, the AG Praxis (ogsa) was presented and the use of AI tools in daily practice was discussed. The changing and new needs of students (especially the compatibility of studies and work) were also an important part of the exchange.

The annual meeting thus once again provided an important platform for strengthening the dialogue between theory and practice and jointly advancing the further development of practical phases.

The next meeting of practical training supervisors will take place on January 25, 2027.
