A successful season lies behind the Campus Tirol motorsport team

The Campus Tirol motorsport team consists of more than 80 students from the four Tyrolean universities and develops a new racing car every year to compete with teams from other universities in the Formula Student competition.

Originating in the USA, Formula Student is an international design competition in which teams of students from all over the world compete against each other in racing cars they have designed and built themselves.

Building an electric racing car requires a wide range of skills. From mechatronics and industrial engineering to business administration and marketing, students from a wide range of disciplines work together in the CTM team.

The team has had an extremely successful season. With the 6th racing car generation, they developed an all-wheel drive vehicle for the first time with AERIS and designed a purely air-cooled drive train.

In addition to the home race at the Red Bull Ring, the team also participated in Formula Student East, Formula Student Alpe Adria, and Formula SAE Italy.

At the end of the season, the Campus Tirol motorsport team was able to celebrate 19 top-10 finishes and a total of four podium places, making it one of the top Formula Student teams in the world.

More information about the great achievements of the CTM team, as well as all information about the various opportunities to become part of the team can be found via the link in the info box.
