This year, the EUREGIO Youth Researcher Award was awarded to Verena Widemair, research assistant in the Department of Food Technology & Nutrition

Verena Wiedemair is dealing with the topic "Revitalization of small-scale crops in the Alpine region - a joint effort to combat monocultures and to diversify the diet". The researcher in the Department of Food Technology & Nutrition was awarded the highly endowed prize at the European Forum Alpbach.
