Saskia Maier's submission impressed across the board

MCI congratulates our student Saskia Maier (master's Food Technology & Nutrition) on her third place finish in the “Erntereif 2025” competition organized by AMTirol. Ms. Maier had to submit an application and pitch her idea before the final ranking was determined.

With her entry, she impressed the jury with its creativity, scientific rigor, and practical relevance – the very combination cultivated in MCI’s master’s program in Food Technology & Nutrition. Achievements like this demonstrate how students bridge theory and practice, driving the food industry forward with sustainable, market-ready solutions.

This win also raises visibility at the regional and national level, opening doors for collaborative projects, internships, and job offers. The success motivates the entire team and shows how commitment, expertise, and creativity pay off.

Do you want to use science and practice to shape the food of tomorrow, ensure quality, and bring innovations to market? Then the master's program in Food Technology & Nutrition at MCI is the right choice for you. Become part of a dedicated community that turns ideas into marketable solutions – as Saskia Maier's example impressively demonstrates.

We congratulate her on this success and look forward to many more innovations from the program.
