As part of a visit to Handl Tyrol at its Pians site, Anna Grabmaier, a student in the master’s program in Food Technology & Nutrition, was awarded the Handl Tyrol Scholarship in the amount of EUR 1,000.
Following the award ceremony, Markus Regner and Christoph Zangerl from Research & Development provided insights into the Pians production facility. The visit also included a personal exchange with Karl Christian Handl (CEO) and Josef Amprosi (Managing Director Technology & Quality Management). Current topics, industry trends, and potential opportunities for future cooperation were discussed – particularly with regard to a possible master’s thesis.
Handl Tyrol and MCI have been working closely together in the field of research and development for more than a decade. Research questions are addressed through joint projects and further explored in bachelor’s and master’s theses. Through this collaboration, many MCI alumni have found their way to Handl Tyrol and are now contributing to various areas of the company.
Our sincere thanks go to Handl Tyrol for the hospitality, the constructive exchange, and the continued support.
