Incoming Photo Competition 2025 & Easter Egg Hunt

Fantastic photos, stylish prizes, delicious Easter eggs – and above all, lots of fun!

Once again, MCI incoming exchange students had the opportunity to submit their favorite pictures in this spring semester as part of the MCI Incoming Photo Competition 2025.

A panel consisting of staff members from the MCI International Relations Office, the MCI Marketing Department, and the MCI Ulysseus Team selected the winners from a total of 30 submitted photos.

The winner, Ms. Chiang Ling from the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, created a collage of three pictures titled "A beautiful dream in Innsbruck." The images reflect her time in Innsbruck, which felt to her like living in a beautiful dream - a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and personal joy.

Second place was awarded to Ms. Sophia Rossi from Università "La Sapienza" in Rome, also for a collage. Third place was shared by Ms. Shivya Yadav (NEOMA Business School, France) with a landscape photo of Innsbruck and Ms. Eunsori Cho (Kyung Hee University, Korea) with the picture "Snow Joy," taken on the Innsbruck Nordkette.

Shortly after Easter, the winners were honored during an Easter get-together. At this event students were first introduced to some Easter traditions in Austria before embarking on an Easter egg hunt throughout the MCI. After (hopefully) all the eggs were found, the submitted photos were presented, and prizes from the MCI shop were ceremoniously awarded. The afternoon concluded with typical Easter treats such as Easter lamb cake, Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, and elderflower syrup.
