In mid-October 2025, the International Relations Recruiting Team travelled to Southeast Europe to participate in the SEE Fair 2025, held in Belgrade (Serbia) and Podgorica (Montenegro). The fair brought together international education providers and served as a valuable platform for presenting MCI’s study opportunities to motivated prospective students and their families.
The SEE Fair is jointly organized by three well-established education agencies, BHV Education (Croatia), Ino Edukacija (Serbia) and ISEM Agency (Montenegro), and is additionally supported by Advantage Austria, highlighting Austria’s strong visibility and reputation as a study destination across the region.
Among the exhibitors were universities of applied sciences, private universities as well as language and boarding schools from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom. Attendees — primarily secondary school students accompanied by their parents — showed great interest in our programs such as Business & International Management, Digital Business, Biotechnology, and Tourism Management.
The fair was professionally organized by Ino Edukacija and ISEM Agency, offering excellent conditions for productive meetings and high-quality lead generation. Additional support was provided by Advantage Austria, significantly enhancing Austria’s presence. A particular highlight was the spontaneous visit of Austrian Ambassador Dr. Steiner at the Austrian stand in Podgorica — a strong signal for regional partnership, visibility and trust, especially in relation to information and visa-related processes.
Southeastern Europe, particularly Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, continues to prove itself as a promising region for future talent. Many young candidates demonstrate strong academic motivation, solid school backgrounds and excellent English language proficiency, making them a compelling match for MCI’s applied-learning environment and, in the long term, for the Austrian labor market.
At MCI, international recruitment is driven by long-term partnerships, talent development and meaningful diversification of its programs. Based on positive outcomes, future participation in the SEE Fair remains a valuable and realistic prospect.
