Smart Building Technologies visits the Research Institute for Mechanical Engineering at HTL Anichstraße

Recently, our second-semester students of the dual study program Smart Building Technologies had the opportunity to expand their lecture hall experiences with a company visit. At HTL Anichstraße, which is located close to the MCI's Technology & Life Sciences campus, the 2024 cohort gained insights into the daily work processes at the Research Institute for Mechanical Engineering.

Prepared by the course “Materials and Materials Technology”, the students were able to gain additional practical insights on site. They received a comprehensive overview of the metrological procedures for materials testing - on the PC and on the testing machines themselves.

Our study program extends its thanks for the repeated invitation and looks forward to gaining further practical insights at HTL Anichstraße.
