Students Visit Hilti AG

Combining theory and practice – first-semester students gain unique insights into an innovative company

Practical orientation is very important in the Industrial Engineering & Management degree program. Therefore, our first-semester students recently gained unique insights into a globally active, innovative company that has been in existence since 1941. With around 34,000 employees in more than 120 countries, the company covers the entire value chain from product development to manufacturing, logistics, sales, and service.

Hilti is indispensable in the construction industry due to its diverse product range. In addition to power tools, the company also offers software solutions and many other services.

The excursion program included a company presentation with an overview of the values, services, and corporate structure as well as a tour of the campus. The tour of the workshops was the highlight of the excursion and provided an insight into production.
