Experiment and Discover: Girls’ Day 2026 at MCI

Date 2026-05-06

Fascinating insights into MCI’s technology programs

Once again, the MCI Technology & Life Sciences campus was transformed into a place brimming with curiosity, enthusiasm, and fascination. Numerous high school girls from all over Tyrol took advantage of Girls’ Day 2026 to take a look behind the scenes at the Entrepreneurial School® and to immerse themselves in the world of technology and life sciences.

With palpable enthusiasm, the participants explored laboratories, workshops, and hands-on sessions. Under the motto “How do I become a problem-solver for global challenges?”, they learned how diverse and future-relevant technical career paths are today.

The students stepped into the roles of experts tackling some of the most pressing issues of our time, including

  • the consequences of climate change
  • digital transformation
  • resilient supply chains
  • the circular economy
  • the future of mobility and work
  • high-quality healthcare

At seven interactive stations, specific challenges were presented, relevant degree programs were highlighted, and potential career paths were explored together. This gave the young women not only an insight into the technical degree programs at MCI, but also into the vast range of industries and fields of work that will be open to them in the future.

Girls’ Day impressively demonstrated just how exciting, creative, and socially relevant technical careers are. Thanks to the many practical examples, experiments, and discussions, this “Day of the Future” is sure to remain in the students’ memories for a long time. And for some, it may even have been the first step toward a professional future full of possibilities.
