Management & Law graduate founds FinTech start-up and receives million-euro investment

MCI alumni Paul Bruckberger founded the FinTech start-up "linx4" - now secured seven-figure funding.

At the end of 2018, Paul Bruckberger (a graduate of the Bachelor program “Management and Law”) founded the FinTech start-up "linx4" in association with his father. Now the young entrepreneurs have secured seven-figure funding as well as strong expertise from the financial sector.

linx4 offers a platform for pay-per-use financing of equipment in cooperation with financial institutions and machine manufacturers. Now the company is expanding its portfolio with the establishment of an investment fund for institutional investors who wish to participate in this attractive asset class as well as other IoT data-based financial products. The million-euro investment will now be used for the further development of the platform as well as for the establishment of the fund.

The trend towards digital and flexible financing in a modern production environment has been accelerated further by the Corona crisis. linx4 contributes significant value to this ecosystem by combining Industry 4.0 data with modern financing methods.

Co-founder Paul Bruckberger sees his MCI studies as the foundation for his professional success: "The mix of theoretical knowledge in combination with lecturers stemming from the business world, as well as the focus of the study program (management, law, finance), all represent the basic framework for a successful professional life for me.”
