MCI wins the DGT Science Prize 2014

Major distinction for MCI Master’s thesis in Tourism

Following its successful performances in 2012 and 2013, MCI Management Center Innsbruck again made a big impression at the ITB in Berlin: Sandra Voscort, a graduate of the MCI Master’s program in Entrepreneurship & Tourism, won the prestigious ITB Science Prize in the Best Practical Work category. She performed an ethnographic study in a German theme park to obtain qualitative data on the individual visitor experience as a basis for service quality optimization in the park. “That is a great distinction for Sandra Voscort and also a fine form of recognition for the MCI,” says a delighted Hubert Siller, head of Tourism at the MCI.

The DGT Science Prize is awarded annually by the German Society for Research in Tourism (DGT).
