MCI again up with the leaders in the CHE University Ranking 2014/15

The high standard of quality at the Entrepreneurial School® has again been confirmed in a ranking published by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE). This, the most important university ranking in the German-speaking world produced exciting results for MCI study programs in the fields of Economics, Social Sciences, and Industrial Engineering and Management.

The latest university ranking published by the international Center for Higher Education (CHE) has delivered a highly positive verdict for Management Center Innsbruck, which collected no fewer than seventy places in the top groups in the fields of Economics, Social Sciences, and Industrial Engineering and Management.

The MCI’s economics students are very satisfied with their study programs in general and with the supervision provided and the practical relevance of the courses in particular. They also gave top marks for international orientation and the excellent infrastructure. The Industrial Engineering and Management programs attracted an outstanding general assessment and earned special praise for the intensive supervision available to students and the excellent laboratory facilities. The Social Work program was given a top classification for conditions for study and professional relevance.

For Brigitte Auer, head of Quality Management at the MCI, the results of the latest CHE ranking constitute a highly positive verdict for MCI: “The constant commitment to quality at the MCI is bearing fruit. The results also motivate us to continue to make further improvements to all our study programs and services.”

The heads of departments and study programs at the MCI are equally pleased:

Peter Mirski, Director of Management, Communication & IT: “Our program, with its combination of three fields of competence, namely management, communication and information technology, has met with an enthusiastic response on the part of the students. Gerhard Hillmer, Director of Industrial Engineering and Management: “Our graduates find exciting positions as engineers at the interface of engineering, business and management. This excellent result confirms the wisdom of our approach to Industrial Engineering and Management.”

The CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive and most detailed ranking in the German-language area. It involves more than 300 universities and colleges with more than 2,500 departments, 7,500 study programs and 33 subjects. In addition to key facts relating of study, teaching, facilities and research, the ranking also includes student assessments of conditions for study at their respective universities and is a useful source of orientation for choosing the right study program.
