Official presentation of the Raiffeisen Awards at the MCI

Raiffeisen Gruppe Tirol is supporting MCI students with scholarships worth a total of 5,000 euros.

As an MCI partner and sponsor of many years’ standing, Raiffeisen Banks see academic training as a significant social asset and a central resource for corporate development. The scholarships motivate people with an outstanding professional and personal record who are studying or wish to study at the MCI.

Three scholarships have been awarded:

The Raiffeisen Award worth 3,000 euros has been won by Andrea Spiß, a trainer at Sandoz with responsibility for training apprentices in the field of chemistry, who will soon have completed a part-time Bachelor’s program in Food & Bioresource Technologies. Andrea Spiss convinced the jury with her impressive past record, an excellent presentation of her potential for future development and her ambitious professional goals. With the help of the scholarship, she will attend the MCI’s Executive Certificate course in Human Resources Management.

The Raiffeisen International Award was announced for students wishing to spend their semester abroad at a third-country university. Scholarships worth 1,000 euros each were awarded to Stefan Hackl, who is studying Business & Management at the MCI, for a semester at Stetson University (USA) and to Julia Elisabeth Römer, who is enrolled in the MCI’s Tourism Business Studies program, for a semester at the University of Central Florida (USA). In both cases, the decision was made on the basis of their excellent performance as students to date and their convincing application dossiers.

The awards were presented by Raiffeisen’s Marketing Manager Thomas Wass and the MCI’s Rector Andreas Altmann. Tiroler Raiffeisen Banks and the Entrepreneurial School® would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the winners and wish them all the best for their studies and future careers.
