MCI and Hypo Tirol agree on further cooperation

The successful longstanding program of collaboration between MCI Management Center Innsbruck and Hypo Tirol Bank is to be continued

The program relates primarily to activities in the context of the MCI Alumni & Friends graduates’ club. In addition to various joint events, regular projects with MCI students are also on the agenda such as the attractive 111 Ideas for Tyrol campaign. The program of synergistic cooperation between the two institutions is an expression of a common interest in strengthening the Tyrol as a location for science and business.

Since its foundation more than a hundred years ago, Hypo Tirol Bank has been committed to making a contribution to the social and cultural development of the region and its people. Hypo Tirol Bank relates actively with the people of the Tyrol, supporting them – amongst other things – through sustainable initiatives in the field of science and education.

As the Entrepreneurial School®, MCI Management Center Innsbruck helps make organizations more competitive and contributes to greater professionalism in the fields of business, administration, politics and culture, while MCI Alumni & Friends functions as a service and networking platform for graduates, friends and partners of the Entrepreneurial School®.

Hypo Board Member Johann Kollreider is very pleased with the partnership: “For many years, Hypo Tirol Bank and Management Center Innsbruck have enjoyed a meaningful and intensive partnership. This is a product of our common endeavor to promote intellectual curiosity and the spirit of discovery amongst the people of the Tyrol. That is our contribution to specialization in the region and the further development of the Tyrolean economy by promoting a scientific elite of an international standard.”

The MCI’s Rector Andreas Altmann adds: “We are delighted to have a long-standing partner in the form of Hypo Tirol Bank that appreciates the importance of a first-class university for the development of the Tyrol as a location for science and business.”
