Recruiting Forum 2014 with 45 employers and more than 600 students

On November 10, the Recruiting Forum organized by MCI Management Center Innsbruck was attended by leading Austrian and international companies and institutions from a wide range of fields, including top brands and successful niche players, who took the opportunity meet with 600 to 800 students of the Entrepreneurial School®.

As part of their talent recruitment effort, these potential employers presented their respective organizations, defined their corporate cultures and human resource policies, and explained what they consider important for a successful application. The speakers also discussed key competencies for future employees and questions relating to a successful step into professional life.

For Brigitte Huter, head of the MCI Career Center, the 2014 Recruiting Forum again provided an attractive platform for a useful encounter between students and the business community. “Personal contact between applicants and the companies’ representatives is an essential part of the application process. That is still true, or even more so, in today’s world of social media, online communities and Skype interviews.”

Thomas Auer, speaker for the student representatives at the MCI, sees the forum as a further element in the practical orientation of study at the MCI: “The Recruiting Forum gives us students a chance to make personal contact with representatives of potential employers. On behalf of the student representatives, I should like to express our sincere thanks for the super offering!”
