MCI Tourism again among the winners in the THE-ICE Report

The MCI’s Tourism study programs scored for the excellent quality of the teaching, overall satisfaction and the world’s best location.

The Tourism Department at the MCI has again achieved outstanding results in the recently published THE-ICE Report 2014. Every year a poll is held of more than 9,000 students of tourism from the membership of the International Center of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE ICE), which includes some of the most prestigious schools of tourism in the world.

The MCI’s Tourism Department received several outstanding scores and came top of the international league in terms of the quality of the teaching and general student satisfaction. In addition, the students polled voted the MCI’s Innsbruck location and culture the best in the world – ahead of the famous universities in Australia and Switzerland. “The results are a real distinction for the MCI and a source of motivation for us to continue the good work,” says a delighted Hubert Siller, Head of the Department of Tourism at the MCI.
