Systematic acquisition and exploitation of intellectual property rights

Starting April 2015: part-time MCI Executive Certificate course in Patent & License Management

The systematic acquisition, protection and exploitation of patents, licenses and other sole and exclusive rights are decisive for the success or failure of innovative companies, universities and non-university R&D organizations. The MCI is therefore offering an Executive Certificate course that takes an in-depth look at exploitation and protection strategies offering a competitive advantage.

On completion of the course, participants are familiar with the international scope and also the rules for the acquisition and exploitation of patents and are capable of developing suitable patent and protection strategies, evaluating existing ones and drawing the right conclusions in terms of risk, financial implications and operative measures.

Graduates of the program also receive credits for the MCI's General Management Executive MBA and Master of Science in Management & Leadership MSc, which have both received international accreditation.

The course starts on April 24, 2015.
