MCI technology course with a double degree in Finland

High potentials of the MCI course in Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering can gain a further degree at the renowned Centria University of Applied Sciences in Kokkola, Finland.

After signing the dual degree agreement with Centria University in Kokkola, Finland, MCI offers selected students of Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering the opportunity to gain a degree as Bachelor of Engineering (BEng.) in addition to the Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree awarded at MCI.

Integrated study plans, the mutual acknowledgement of academic achievements and complementary courses in Innsbruck and Kokkola provide the basis for gaining the two internationally recognized degrees at the end of an eight-semester degree course. Through this cooperation the students at MCI receive the unique opportunity to extend their knowledge in the fields of environmental chemistry and chemical engineering. Complementary work experience provided at both locations improves intercultural competences and the command of foreign languages.

Centria University in Kokkola belongs to the most dynamic, multidisciplinary and internationally oriented higher education institutions in West Finland. The Kokkola region has the highest export level and highest concentration of anorganic chemistry businesses of the Nordic nations, which allows MCI students to gain valuable work experience in Finnish industry.
