MCI graduate awarded PhD scholarship from University of Michigan

Michelle Falkenbach receives scholarship to study at University of Michigan: international distinction for English-language Master program in International Health & Social Management at MCI

For the next five years, the University of Michigan, one of the world’s leading universities, will provide the alma mater to American-born MCI graduate Michelle Falkenbach.

Michelle Falkenbach, who recently completed her English-language Master degree in International Health & Social Management at MCI, has been admitted to the School of Public Health of the University of Michigan and granted a scholarship to finance her doctoral degree program at the renowned institution. In her Master thesis she explained the increasing trend towards private health insurance in Austria as well as implications for national health care. Her future alma mater appreciates her exceptional achievements and previous experience and emphasizes that her application stood out as one of the best submissions received. Falkenbach is looking forward to meeting new challenges and is also hoping to be able to devote future research projects, above all her dissertation, to Austria.
