The event marked the kick-off for the International Study Tours of the students participating in the bachelor program “Business and Management” (part-time) to Moscow and of the students participating in the master program “International Business & Management” to Ostrava and Prague. In the course of the study tours the students visited companies, such as Skoda, McKinsey, Österreich Werbung, GfK, and attended academic lectures at partner universities. Therefore, the students got the opportunity to gain great local insights into the prevailing economic, political and cultural interrelations of CEE countries.

By giving their presentations the top line-up of speakers – such as Univ. Prof. Mag. Dr. Gerhard Mangott, Professor for Political Sciences at the University of Innsbruck, Mag. Richard Wallner, CFO of the Eastern Europe Business Division at the Fritz Egger GmbH & Co OG as well as Mag. (FH) Thomas Fritz, Business Development & Marketing Director at ILF Consulting Engineers and Mag. (FH) Andreas Eberharter, Technical Solutions Director at GE Power –, together with approximately 80 participants, looked at the topic from different perspectives.
