This year round three starts with 70 students.
Today our Bachelor’s study program DIGITAL BUSINESS AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERING started its third round. Therefore, 70 students met for the kick-off meeting at the MCI campus. The head of the program, Peter Mirski, welcomed the students and introduced them to the new academic year, pointing out all the relevant MCI services. In addition to Career Services and an introduction to the online library system at MCI I, our student representatives from the ÖH also introduced themselves and their various responsibilities.
In small groups our main lecturers, Matthias Janetschek and Pascal Schöttle, gave our first-year students an overview of the course of study. Since the DIGITAL BUSINESS AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERING study program is designed in an online format, the focus was on the virtual lectures and the required tools. Thus, our students can start well prepared with the first courses.
During the next six semesters of this internationally oriented study program, our students will learn practical know-how and tools to help shape the digital world of tomorrow. We are looking forward to three exciting and instructive years!
The entire DiBSE-team once again extends a warm welcome to the year of 2020 here at MCI.
