Dr. Pascal Schöttle is awarded professorship at MCI
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® recently awarded Dr. Pascal Schöttle the title of MCI Professor during his inaugural lecture on the topic of "The safety of supposedly intelligent machines". MCI Rector Andreas Altmann and the Head of the academic council Franz Pegger presented Pascal Schöttle with the certificate at a formal ceremony on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. The ceremony was attended by colleagues from the academic department as well as relatives, friends and companions of the honoree at the MCI campus. The laudatio was held by Stephan Schlögl, representing Head of Department & Studies Peter J. Mirski.
Dr. Pascal Schöttle has been working at MCI since October 2018 and is responsible, among other things, for the courses on IT Security & Privacy at the academic department Digital Business & Software Engineering. He is also dedicated to the secure handling of data and information systems in his numerous research activities and publication projects. The award of the title MCI Professor recognizes Dr. Pascal Schöttle's achievements in research and teaching at MCI.
