"Connecting Research" - how and what research can connect. This was the motto of the 16th Research Forum of Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences, which took place at the FH St. Pölten at the end of April. Every year, the FH Research Forum serves the exchange and networking of all lecturers and researchers of the 21 Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences. At this year's event, three colleagues of the department of Digital Business & Software Engineerig - Martin Nocker, Florian Merkle and Stephan Schlögl - presented their work.
The focus was on our activities in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IT Security, which were concretely presented in the course of the opening of the FH St. Pölten Center for Artificial Intelligence . In addition, the results of a study on the topic of data story telling in companies were presented and possible future cooperation opportunities in national research projects were discussed.
