"Our leadership camp has come to an end, and it was a fantastic edition!" MCiT lecturer Anne-Marie Gilis
The MCiT Leadership Camp in the 4th semester takes place as a block event on five consecutive days. In addition to theoretical input from Anne-Marie Gilis, students have the opportunity to get to know companies and their leaders better.
This year the students were familiarized with topics such as corporate management, military leadership, leadership and personality, women as executives, innovation and change leadership and managing a family business and were able to immediately see the contents being implemented in case studies. In order to give the camp a very practical approach and to let the students experience business leadership live, the guest lectures by Hauptmann Mag. (FH) Christoph Seidner (Military Command Innsbruck) and Prof. Dr. Günter Weiss (managing senior physician and deputy director of the University Clinic for Internal Medicine) guaranteed enthusiasm.
The highlights of the leadership camp were two excursions to CEO Patrick Lüth and his company Snøhetta in Innsbruck as well as a visit to the Swarovski Manufactory in Wattens and Vice President Luca De Agostini.
Anne-Marie Gilis is a former madia professional who has been one of Belgium’s leading broadcasters for more than ten years as a news anchor, journalist and later on in the UK (London), a documentary film producer. She currently gives lectures at renowned Universities and serves as an independent strategy and innovation consultant for different business industries. Her focus is on creative management, strategy, leadership and cultural economics.
