From September 2nd to September 4th, the 14th edition of the Summer School on Advanced Biotechnology took place in Basel.
During the Summer School on Advanced Biotechnology, students of the MCI Master's programs in Biotechnology and Food Technology had the opportunity to participate in international lectures and workshops from science and industry. The MCI was represented with three guest lectures: Dr. Arash Sadeghi-Mehr, Prof. Dr. Christoph Griesbeck and Simon Albertini, M.Sc. presented their research topics from the fields of biotechnology and food technology. Another item on the agenda was the visit of the new Process Technology Center (PTC) by FHNW. The Summer School on Advanced Biotechnology is organized by the FHNW Basel in cooperation with the Universita degli Studi di Palermo and takes place alternately in Basel and Palermo.
