Alooooha,
Despite the risky travel situation caused by COVID-19, we decided to spend our semester abroad (January to June 2021) in Honolulu in July 2020. Even though the organisation and correspondence with the numerous authorities has been difficult at times, we are incredibly grateful that we are able to complete our semester abroad despite the current situation.
In addition to making unique acquaintances with students from countries all over the world, we were able to enjoy top-class lectures by extremely dedicated lecturers at Hawaii Pacific University.
These moments, combined with the diverse leisure activities that Oahu offers, have made the past five months a unique experience that we will remember for a long time. We would recommend the semester abroad on Oahu/Hawaii to everyone, as it really was an absolute dream time!
