Starting in fall of 2021, students of the Bachelor’s program Business & Management will be able to participate in a newly established Double Degree program with Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. This program enables students to gain extensive international experience while building and expanding their knowledge and network at two high-quality institutions. MCI students will spend the first two years of studying at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® before moving to Finland for the third year of their BA program. After completing the program, students will be awarded two academic degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Business from MCI and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Haaga-Helia.
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences is Finland's largest business university offering programs in business economics, information technology, communication, tourism, journalism, vocational teacher education programs, and languages. It has about 6,000 students and about 380 employees. 230 of which are full-time lecturers. MCI students who participate in this challenging Double Degree Program will be enrolled in the program “International Business” at Haaga-Helia and can choose one of two specializations; one in Human Resources Management the other in Accounting & Finance. Moreover, students will take language courses in Finnish and an additional language of their choice to foster international collaboration. Besides acquiring profound academic and theoretical knowledge, students will also complete a 20-week internship in the field of their chosen specialization to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and to gain hands-on experience.
