A new exciting chapter begins

Everyone knows the unique feeling of starting a new chapter in life. Everything has to be newly rearranged and adapted to new circumstances. Everything is new, unknown and extremely exciting.
This week our freshmen started a new chapter. In respect to “regular” students, their routine does not exist of course frequentation and intensive learning sessions only. Our students are already organizational talents who will be perfectly able to combine work, university and private life.

Even if our courses are held mostly online, it is still important for us to personally greet all new students on the first day. In fact, social distancing does not mean that we do not focus on team spirit. That is why our head of department Maria Rabl started her welcome speech with this special quote from Steve Jobs: Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people.

Therefore, Maria Rabl sees a big benefit in the fact, that the majority of students already have work experience. This enables in-depth discussions, which can be better memorized due to the close practical relevance. Learning from each other, motivating one another, and growing together – that is what team spirit is all about.

We are looking forward to working with our new students on a great career path!
