BAO Insights: New research assistant in our department

Interview with Nadin Reinstadler

In September Nadin Reinstadler started working as a research assistant in the BWLO Department. To help you get to know her better, we asked Nadin a few questions.

What did you do before you started to work at MCI?

I completed my bachelor's degree in Economics & Management at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy) and my master's degree in Strategic Management at the University of Innsbruck. During my bachelor degree, I gained a lot of experience in tourism marketing through several internships. In the course of my two years of study in Innsbruck, I had the unique opportunity to work on a brand relaunch and experience every step first hand.

After graduating, I worked for 1.5 years as an area sales manager at HOFER KG and was able to gain and deepen my knowledge in various areas such as leadership, HR management, and strategic management.

Which tasks are you particularly looking forward to in your new job at MCI?

I am happy to be able to pursue my passion for scientific work again and to incorporate the practical relevance I have gained so far. Working with lecturers will be brand new for me – I am looking forward to getting to know this site too. I am sure that I will have a lot of fun working as a research assistant.

Which book are you reading right now?

I have to admit that I have not started a new book right now – I am still looking for a suitable one. Right now, I like listening to podcasts. However, in August I read the book “Disruptive Branding: How to Win in Times of Change”. I find branding topics very exciting and what I particularly liked about this book is that it was written by a management consultancy and hence includes many real-life examples.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In winter, I love to go skiing. My father and sister are ski instructors and therefore it runs in the family that skiing technique is a central point. In summer, however, I like to be out in the mountains or to explore new cities.

How would you describe the Business Administration Online Department in 5 words?

Ambitious. Passionate. Inquisitive. Accessible. Friendly.
