German-Austrian cooperation takes shape | Start with student exchange in genetic engineering (Weihenstephan) and food approval & health requirements (MCI)
We are pleased to report on a cooperation between the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences and Management Center Innsbruck. In March of this year, an exchange took place for the first time by opening modules for students from the other university.
Three of our students had the opportunity to visit the module on genetic engineering, which was conducted by Dr. Ulrich Busch together with colleagues from the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety. In return, we opened our module Food Approval/Constituents and Health Claims.
An exchange that should be continued, because our students agreed on one thing. "It is a valuable experience to exchange ideas with students from another university, to get to know other lecturers and to get a taste of another master's course."
