MCI Management Center Innsbruck welcomed a group of students from the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for the third time in July 2019. The students were delighted with the varied summer program. Embry Riddle Aeronautical University is the world's largest aviation university located in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA.
A small group of engineering students accompanied by a professor spent a month in Innsbruck. The group attended classes in Robotics and Automation at MCI. A part of the program comprised company visits and excursions also arranged by MCI. Impressive company visits such as BMW in Munich and Tyrolean Jet Services in Innsbruck; cultural highlights such as the Neuschwanstein Castle and the city of Salzburg; breathtaking scenic nature of the Stubai Glacier as well as some thrill on the High Line 179 in Reutte made the summer program an exciting and memorable event.
Nicholas Hernandez, participant in the “Robotics in Austria” program, states: “The program overall was an amazing experience. There was not one thing that hindered the learning experience or cultural appreciation on this trip. MCI did an amazing job hosting us and allowing us to participate at the university.”
