MCI welcomes more than 300 international students

Exciting orientation days for international degree-seeking students and incoming exchange students.

The international relations team recently had the pleasure to welcome more than 300 international students to MCI.

82 of them will stay for the next two or three years to study for their bachelor’s or master’s degree at the Entrepreneurial School®. They come from 28 different nations, bringing in their international perspectives to their studies and shaping the MCI's international landscape.

The 222 incoming exchange students, who will study at MCI for a semester or two or for a double degree, further enrich MCI's international flair. Coming from 105 MCI partner universities and representing 47 nations from all over the world, these students eagerly embark on their venture to learn more about the Austrian culture and language.

The MCI international relations team organized various events during these orientation days for international degree-seeking students, on the one hand, and for the incoming exchange students, on the other hand, to welcome and support them within their first days of arrival. These events included info sessions on organizational matters, such as visa, registration and more, as well as sessions concerning their studies and the student life at MCI in Innsbruck. A treasure hunt through Innsbruck wrapped up the orientation program for the international degree-seeking students. To conclude their orientation program, the incoming exchange students could join a guided city tour of Innsbruck and a typical Tyrolian dinner thus, discovering and tasting the Tyrolian culture with all senses.

We hope our new students enjoyed their first days at MCI and had fun during their orientation as much as we did. We wish them a wonderful start of studies in Innsbruck at the Entrepreneurial School®!
