Interkulturelle Kompetenz & Diversity Training

In this session, the students learn to gain concrete insight into a collectivist culture and further strengthen their cultural awareness. They explore what is visible and invisible in culture and reflect on the question of what is perceived as “normal.” By examining their own assumptions of normality, students are encouraged to critically reflect on their own cultural lens. The session also addresses the requirements of intercultural competence and introduces different ways in which cultural differences are perceived and experienced. Students are invited to reflect on their own perceptions and personal experiences in intercultural contexts.
