We are part of the Austrian Unipreneurship-Community!

Since the beginning of September, the MCI has been an integral part of the Entrepreneurship Center Network (ECN). The ECN is an interdisciplinary entrepreneurship network of Austrian Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences.

The network stands for close cooperation, strengthens entrepreneurial activities and promotes entrepreneurial thinking beyond the borders of the Austrian provinces. Together with 24 other Austrian universities, the MCI creates interdisciplinary discourse and strengthens important partnerships.

The aim of the network is to promote cooperation and exchange in the field of entrepreneurial activities and competences. Students who want to found a business can get a quick overview of all entrepreneurial offerings and topics related to starting a business. By actively participating in the ECN, MCI students can gain further insights and additional resources, when founding their own business.

In the spirit of “Entrepreneurial University & Unipreneurship”, the first ECN Conference was held in Vienna. Representatives from all partner universities and disciplines were able to exchange ideas and collaborate during inspiring panel discussions, keynotes and exciting workshops with Herbert Gartner (CEO of Spin-off Austria &eQventure), Dejan Jovicevic (Co-Founder of brutkasten) and Nina Wöss (Founder of Female Founders & AVCO), among others.

Entrepreneurship has always been an integral part of the MCI. There are many entrepreneurship activities and services established and lived by the Entrepreneurial School®. It is very exciting to exchange ideas with other universities, to form collaborations and above all, to gain new perspectives. By participating in the ECN, we can offer our students further opportunities and resources in the field of entrepreneurship.”, says Sophia Pauer from the Center for Entrepreneurship.

We are proud to be part of the ECN and looking forward to an inspiring collaboration!
