On March 20, the first Founders Match on Campus took place at MCI in cooperation with Startup.Tirol – an event that brought students and founders together to meet, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. The initiative provided the perfect opportunity for those who are already working on their own startup ideas or want to contribute their skills to exciting founding projects.
Five promising startups from the Tyrolean ecosystem presented their business ideas and actively sought co-founders or team members who could help them implement their vision. But it wasn't just existing startups that had the spotlight: brave idea holders also spontaneously presented their concepts and sought supporters from various fields of expertise.
The participants came from diverse disciplines and brought valuable competencies, whether in marketing, sales, or technical development. This created a dynamic atmosphere where founders and talents could easily network and discover potential synergies.
In addition to the startup pitches, the evening also featured an exciting talk by Lea Krebs on the topic of co-founding. The talk addressed key questions: How do you find the right co-founders? What should you focus on to build a successful partnership? What challenges can arise in the early founding phase?
The evening concluded with relaxed networking over pizza and drinks, providing the perfect setting for further discussions and the exchange of initial ideas. Not only were valuable contacts made, but the foundations for future collaborations were also laid.
We are confident that the evening not only inspired, but also created the foundation for exciting new collaborations!
