The ERASMUS+ program is a European Union funding initiative that supports international mobility and collaboration in general and vocational education, youth, and sports.
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® has participated in ERASMUS+ since 1996, giving MCI students, faculty, and staff access to all components of this major European higher education program.
ERASMUS+ provides MCI students with grants for study-related, self-arranged internships abroad within Europe. These internships are designed to help students transition into the workforce.
The planned time abroad (study or internship) must have a clear academic connection to the student’s degree program and be recognized by the home institution as relevant to the curriculum.
Students may undertake ERASMUS+ opportunities (internships and/or study abroad) totaling up to twelve months per degree level (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD). ERASMUS+ offers clear guidelines and transparent procedures to help students make the most of these opportunities.
ERASMUS+ strengthens cross-border collaboration among European universities and fosters connections between higher education and industry. This opens new pathways into international networks for MCI students.
Recent MCI alumni may also complete an internship abroad under certain conditions within one year of graduation.
However, the application must be submitted while they are still enrolled.
Deadlines and details are generally set by the International Office. Early planning is recommended. MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® and ERASMUS+ support this process with structured information and advising services.
